A present life worth moving on for. A past best left to memories tucked away.

Jaxon Dean has reached a point in his life where everything is as it should be. He has the personality, the looks, and the charm, to basically get whoever he desires—except Cassandra Tyce. She's immune to his playboy ways, quick wit, and over indulgence of himself. There is only one time he can recall having to work as hard to snag the one he had his sights set on…

At a much simpler time in life, all he had to worry about was passing classes, hitching a ride to places, and collecting phone numbers. Although on his first day of high school, Jaxon found not every girl was susceptible to his charms. Could one person truly change his overzealous ways?

An unexpected turn of events can leave even the toughest ones lost without hope... Hope of ever recovering, of ever wanting to see tomorrow, of ever feeling true happiness again.

With the help of Cassandra Tyce, Jaxon will learn that sometimes, lying to oneself can be the sole reason a person stays torn.

Jax

When I met this guy in the first book of the series I couldn't help but fall in love with him. He was funny, teasing, tattooed so he seemed to have the whole package. However, reading his book I was introduced to several other aspects of his character. This strong guy has been through a heart breaking past and you can't even imagine how his life went from perfect to hell.

During his journey he seemed unable to move forward.Everyone was moving on except from Jax.It took several efforts from his brother and his best friends to make him alive again because he was dragging himself to a path that has not an easy return.

At this point of his life Jax looks to have moved forward but the wounds of the past are not completely healed.Cass, a girl that's been a lot around lately , is here to make him alive again.

Yet Cass is quite hesitant about his intentions cause he is so enigmatic and the past that he carries is definitely an ureachable place for her. However , she cannot let him down, she is chasing him and helping him get it together and finally start a new beginning in his life.

you just need to start a new chapter...

My thoughts:

I was not disapointed from this book at all.

Jax is dreamy and swoon worthy but that is not the only reason I liked it.

I have to admit that I'm such a marshmallow and I cried several times.I have reached this point of my life that I think crying over books or movies is ridiculous but HEY I CAN'T HELP IT !!
So leave me alone in my corner while I'm...

But also this playboy made me laugh a lot.I was giggling or grinning like an idiot with his cocky attitude.

Anyways, it was overall great but I needed more of Cass.Sometimes I felt her absence but I think that this happened because of the many flashbacks we got to read.

INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR

*It is a pleasure to us host you again in our blog and celebrate the release of your new book "Ending a Torn Past".

>>> Thank you! I know it's been a long time, but thank you for taking interest in me again!
smile emoticon

*Firstly , we would like you to tell us about the writing process of your second book.
>>> Well, I originally (in the very, very early stages) wasn't going to write a book about Jax and what makes him tick. It became more and more evident as the first story (Ending a Broken Journey) went on, that his specific character was screaming in my head at me to tell his story. Also, he seemed to be a huge fan favorite, so give the people what they want, right?
smile emoticon

*Having read both of your books I think that this one was quite more difficult to write.I dont know why but it brought many emotions to me and I had one of those tissue moments. Can you tell us which book was more difficult to write?
>>> For sure this one was way more difficult! *insert laugh here* When I wrote Kennie's story, I had a clear and concise vision of the story I wanted to tell. When it came to Jax, I thought I knew, but as it turns out, not so much. I went back and forth with his story; cut things; added things; so, so much doubt. It took me two years to get his story straight, so by the end of it, all I really wanted was for the reader to be able to feel his pain and his journey, so to speak.

*Truth be told Jax is hot as hell , actually the hot gene seems to be running through the Dean family. If you had to choose one of the Dean boys to take you out, who would it be?
>>> Had to make it difficult, didn't you?? Haha. I sat on this question for a long, long time. I love them both so much and they are both very dear to me, however, if I had to choose...I believe I would choose Drew. He's always had my heart, and as much as I love Jax (we know I do), I feel like Drew would understand me on a different level that I would just melt over.
wink emoticon

Who would you choose???
>>I didn't see this question coming haha
grin emoticon
. I would choose Jax and I don't want to sound shallow because he is freaking hot and tattoed, truth is that Jax is more than that.Jax is funny and people like him always spark my interest. Moreover I would choose him becasue he is broken.I want to hug him so tight so all his broken pieces will stick back together :)) (I adore this quote btw)
*The lead character, Jax, is so damn enigmatic because of his torn past and we all have a thing for broken characters but if you were at Cassandra's shoes would you be able to deal with him or you would just give up and continue your life without him.
>>> Truthfully, I don't have the highest tolerance/patience level, so I would hope that I wouldn't just up and leave. I think there is a certain strength in being able to differentiate what is directed towards you out of anger or out of heartbreak/hurt. Love gives you a pretty high tolerance level. If I were in Cass' shoes and felt that strongly about someone, I'm pretty sure I would've done the same.

*So tell us a few things about yourself. What kind of books do you usually prefer to read?
>>> I am an equal opportunist reader. I love switching up genres because I think it keeps things interesting. I'm currently in the middle of two polar opposite books: Harry Potter (I know, I know...it should've been read a long time ago!), and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I enjoy being at home, really. I have so many shows that I watch with certain friends so it always seems like a little party. I work crazy amounts of hours, so I'm usually tired and am a zombie without coffee (It didn't always used to be that way). I LOVE movies. Movies are my jam. Any movie, any genre (wait, I take that back, definitely not "possession" type movies #scaretactics). Superhero movies if I had to choose. And lately, I've had a genuine obsession with collecting Funko POP! vinyl figures. Like, I think it's becoming a serious problem, but they're just so damn cute!

*What about your future plans? Will we be reading a Journey #3 book?
>>> My future plans? To keep writing of course! I have some stories in mind that will be worlds different than my current journey series, but hopefully, fans will appreciate my ambition to delve head first into something darker...That's all I will say about that for now
wink emoticon

...Yes! There will be a #3 in the Journey series! It will focus on Ade and Kip's story.
I couldn't leave them hanging now could I??
